Your Symptoms
I have supported clients struggling with a variety of symptoms and concerns and they have all found new ways to manage, cope, minimize, control and/or completely relieve their distress. I have worked with people struggling with difficult emotional and physical responses from anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief and loss, feelings of inadequacy, overwhelm / stress, confusion in relationships, low sense of self, obsessive compulsive behaviors, addiction, childhood trauma and diversity, abusive relationships, overcoming loving a narcistic partner or parent, problematic anger responses, and all the many distressing feelings resulting from life experiences and relationships. People often find clarity and healing when working with a professional counsellor with whom they connect with. Your emotional fog can lift and you can feel relief and peace from your distressing emotions and behaviors. Your path and pain is unique to you, and you are not alone in finding healing that is equally unique to your experiences. I will offer therapy which reinforces and supports your individual journey.
First Responders and Teachers endure unique stresses at work and these can be compounded when they spill into relationships and life outside of the workplace. I have understanding and experience working with your concerns and distress and can help to improve your well-being. The BC Teachers Federation has worked to allow teachers’ extended benefits to cover RCC’s, recognizing the importance of your mental health and giving more access for teachers to find their right clinical fit.
